We believe a business should contribute to something larger than itself
A portion of our revenue goes to two organizations we care deeply about. Not because it made good marketing sense, but because they reflect something real about who we are.
The connection between them isn't obvious at first. One plants trees, one supports people in crisis. But to us they share the same underlying truth: simple, accessible actions taken consistently can have an extraordinary impact. You don't always need a grand gesture. Sometimes you just need to remove the resistance.
One Tree Planted
Reforestation is one of the most effective tools we have for rebuilding ecosystems around the world. One Tree Planted makes participating in that work as straightforward as it gets: for every dollar donated, one tree is planted.
We chose them because we wanted to do something meaningful without getting lost in complexity. The overhead is minimal. The impact is immediate and tangible. And the need is real. There is no shortage of places in the world where ecosystems need to be rebuilt.
Crisis Connections
Crisis Connections provides 24/7 crisis support to people across Washington State who are struggling and have nowhere else to turn. Their team answers calls, texts, and chats from people at their most vulnerable, and connects them with the help they need.
This one is personal. Mental health is something I have thought about deeply for most of my life. Both my own and that of the people around me. I know what it means to have support when you need it, and I know that not everyone is that lucky. Not everyone has someone to call, or someone who picks up when they do.
Crisis Connections exists to be that someone. That matters to me.
